• Step 2: Opening statement and introduction from Groom side

• Step 3: Introduction to Bride’s side

• Step 4: Tea is first served to the bride’s parents, and then to other relatives/elders in descending age order or level of closeness:

  • Great-grandparent

  • Grandparents

  • Aunts and uncles

  • Etc

Note that unmarried cousins, siblings, and younger folk in general are optional tea receivers.
